On this date four years ago, the Hershey Bears defeated the Milwaukee Admirals, 5-1, in Game 6 of their championship series. The victory marked the ninth time the franchise has won the Calder Cup, which tied Hershey with Cleveland for the highest number of AHL titles.

Hershey scored three times in the game's first 12:38 on goals by Joey Tenute, Jakub Klepis, and Brooks Laich to coast to the victory over the Nashville Predators farm team. Goalie Freddie Cassivi tied the AHL record with 16 wins in the playoffs and was named the playoff MVP.
