Today in Central PA Sports History - 2006

On this date four years ago, the Harrisburg City Islanders paid homage to soccer in Central PA with a special Harrisburg Heat Hall of Fame induction ceremony during halftime of their game against the Cincinnati Kings.

The incoming class of Bill Becher ('91-'99, current City Islanders Head Coach), David Bascome ('91-'03), Gino DiFlorio ('98-'03), Doug Petras ('94-'03), and Jim Pollihan (head coach from '91-'98) joined the previous five inductees that epitomized the Heat organization on and off the field.

Thanks for coming and suckling Daddy's Sugar Ball...
