The Snooze Button: 2/26
Every morning, DSB will give you a post entitled The Snooze Button. Some sites will give you a Wake-Up Call or The Morning Meat...instead we give you just enough to occupy the first 9 minutes of your day.
Link o' the Day
This might be a little "inside baseball" for everyone else...but if you want to know why we write stuff here at DSB, Dave over at Five Tool Tool writes a great post that explains it all.

Yesterday's Winner: Louie Sulcer

Sulcer won Apple's 10 billionth iTunes download contest and netted himself a $10,000 iTunes gift card. What makes the story great is that Sulcer is a 71-year-old grandfather from Woodstock, Georgia who happened to be buying some Johnny Cash tunes (the actual 10 billionth song was "Guess Things Happen That Way").
Yesterday's Loser: Purdue Boilermakers

Junior forward Robbie Hummel was diagnosed yesterday with a torn ACL from an injury he sustained during the Boilermakers' game on Wednesday night and he will miss the remainder of the season. This flushes Purdue's chances in the NCAA Tournament down the drain. The Final Four in Indianapolis is physically only 65 miles away from Purdue's campus, but after the bad news their dreams just got a lot farther away.
Song to Wake Up to (Local Friday where we'll spotlight bands with local ties):
Thanks for coming and suckling Daddy's Sugar Ball...
