The Snooze Button: 2/25
Every morning, DSB will give you a post entitled The Snooze Button. Some sites will give you a Wake-Up Call or The Morning Meat...instead we give you just enough to occupy the first 9 minutes of your day.

Any guesses as to what these fontastic ingredients are from? Here's a hint - - Jim Gaffigan would know right away. (via The Daily Bunch)
Yesterday's Winners: Canadian Hockey Team

Team Canada put a hurt on Russia yesterday, 7-3, in the highly anticipated hockey quarterfinal showdown. Coming out of the chute quickly, the Canadians hung a 4 spot in the first period and it wasn't a game from that point on. In the last two games since losing to the U.S., Canada has scored 16 goals. It sure looks like the bitter loss to their neighbors from the south was the wake up call Canada needed.
Yesterday's Loser:Dawn Brancheau

All due respect to Ms. Brancheau who died yesterday at SeaWorld in Orlando, but to paraphrase Chris Rock, "The killer whale didn't go crazy...the killer whale went killer whale."
Song to Wake Up to:
Thanks for coming and suckling Daddy's Sugar Ball...

Fun fact: I am two degrees removed from Dawn Brancheau ... which I suppose makes me THREE degrees removed from the whale.
