The Snooze Button: 2/16

Every morning, DSB will give you a post entitled The Snooze Button.  Some sites will give you a Wake-Up Call or The Morning Meat...instead we give you just enough to occupy the first 9 minutes of your day.

Link o' the Day

This one's a little old, but any time two hot female teachers hook up in an empty room during the school day we have to link it.

Pic o' the Day

Yesterday's Winner: Yao Bin

Bin, head coach of China's figure skating team, saw his top two teams finish 1-2 in the Olympic Pairs competition.  Breaking a streak of 12 straight Olympic gold medals by the Russians, husband and wife team Zhao Hongbo and Shen Xue became the oldest winners of this event since 1968.  Competing in their 4th and probably last Olympics, Hongbo and Xue topped fellow countrymen Pang Qing and Tong Jian.

Yesterday's Loser: Shani Davis

U.S. speedskater Davis withdrew from the 500M after he finished 18th in the first preliminary race.  Davis' best chances to medal are in the 1000M and 1500M and he chose to save his energy for those events.  I wonder how Matt Plummer feels about this?  Plummer missed making the U.S. team in the 500M by five hundreths of a second.

Song to Wake Up to (Cover Song Tuesday):

Thanks for coming and suckling Daddy's Sugar Ball...

How much did DSB fork out to sponsor Shani Davis. I can easily see the DSB on the leg and left shoulder. Enquiring minds want to know!
