Yesterday's Winner: David Lee
Lee was named to his first ever NBA All-Star Game when Allen Iverson withdrew from the festivities. Lee is averaging nearly 20 points and 11 rebounds per game on the season and becomes the first Knick since 2001 to be chosen. The fifth year New York center was chosen over Shaq, Atlanta's Josh Smith, and Milwaukee's Andrew Bogut for the open spot.
Yesterday's Loser: Alec Baldwin
Early Thursday morning Baldwin was rushed to the hospital reportedly based on his 14-year old daughter's 911 call. Baldwin was examined and released in quick order. It is believed that his daughter was pressured into the call by her mother (and his ex-wife) Kim Basinger to embarrass Baldwin. If that wasn't a kick in the pants, upon returning to his home following a day of shooting 30 Rock he was met with a throng of media and paparazzi. Baldwin then claims a photographer assaulted him, he called police, and eventually had to be restrained from attacking the photog. Quite the full day for Baldwin.
