Loser of the Day: NBC


NBC's Olympics coverage was dealt another potential blow yesterday when it was revealed that skiier Lindsey Vonn sustained a shin injury a week ago, hasn't practiced since, and is unsure of her status for the Olympics.  Due to her good looks and SI cover, Vonn has become an early breakout star of these Winter Games.  NBC is already losing money on their TV deal and the last thing they need is buzz-worthy athletes unable to compete.
