Winner of the Day: Dear John


Lost in the Super Bowl hoopla of the weekend was Avatar losing its death grip on the box office's top spot.  The latest sap-fest adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks' book, Dear John, ended the seven-week run of the blue Na'avi.  Luckily there wasn't a paper bag to be found on the set of Dear John because star Channing Tatum couldn't have acted his way out of it. 

Loser of the Day: M*A*S*H


Super Bowl 44 supplanted the final episode of M*A*S*H as the most watched program in television history.  The venerable Korean War comedy held the record for nearly 27 years until football's big game drew an estimated 106.5 million viewers.
