The Snooze Button: 2/3
Every morning, DSB will give you a post entitled The Snooze Button. Some sites will give you a Wake-Up Call or The Morning Meat...instead we give you just enough to occupy the first 9 minutes of your day.

Yesterday's Winners: Fans of Lost
The premiere episode of the final season of Lost aired last night. I'll be honest - - I haven't seen a single minute of any episode but based on the viewing parties and anticipation, I'm apparently in the minority. If you're like me, this season can only make the Lost fans seem more annoying than ever...luckily the rest of us know there's only one season left and the fanboys can move on to something else.
Dr. Aaron over at JoeSportsFan is once again renewing his efforts to move the Super Bowl to Saturday. Considering I was too hungover to make it to work on Monday after last year's game, I fully support this notion. Since there's now always an added bye week, I'm not sure I know why the NFL wouldn't think this is a smart idea.

Yesterday's Loser: Dr. Conrad Murray

Wacko Jacko's personal physician is in Los Angeles (from Houston) and prepared to surrender to authorities if they file charges against him in the King of Pop's death. Murray admits to administering Jackson propofol shortly before he died and an autopsy revealed the cause of death was "acute propofol intoxication" in combination with the use of sedatives.

Song to Wake Up to:
Thanks for coming and suckling Daddy's Sugar Ball...

While I would love to see the Super Bowl moved to a Saturday, I'll give you two reasons why the NFL won't do it:
#1. Ratings/revenue. Sunday night is one of the most lucrative time slots of the TV week, while Saturday night is traditionally one of the worst.
#2. Tradition. As big a deal as the No Fun League makes about players doing things that the forefathers of the game would huff and snort about, there isn't a pasty guy's chance in South Beach that the NFL would dare try something new and exciting like making the game more convenient to the partying schedules of the 18-35 demographic that they so covet.
