Yesterday's Winner: Steve Jobs

Yesterday, Jobs unveiled the latest product in Apple's attempt at world domination. The iPad was developed to carve out the niche between the phone and laptop. Imagine an iTouch (does not have phone or camera capabilities like an iPhone) the size of a piece of paper with features like improved web browsing, better mixed media delivery, and the untapped Apple market of eBooks. Another product rollout and another license to print money...the U.S. Treasury should just give Jobs the keys to the building.

Yesterday's Losers: Javaris Crittenton & Gilbert Arenas

Commissioner David Stern suspended both Arenas and Crittenton for the remainder of the season without pay after the NBA concluded their investigation into their December 21st confrontation in the Wizards' locker room. ESPN is also reporting that Arenas has also agreed not to appeal the punishment. Only Ron Artest (73 games for the brawl at the Palace) and Latrell Sprewell (68 games for choking coach P.J. Carlesimo) have been suspended for more games in NBA history not involving drugs, alcohol, or gambling.
